Dr. Wright earned her B.A. from Loyola College in Maryland (now Loyola University). She then earned her M.S. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Finally, she earned her Psy.D from Long Island University, specializing in family violence. She completed her predoctoral internship at the James J. Peters Veteran Affairs Medical Center working with numerous veterans struggling with various problems including PTSD, substance use disorders, and stress management and anger problems. Previous experiences include working in an adolescent inpatient unit, and working with teenagers and their families deal with the negative consequences of technology, mostly cyber bullying and harassment, and sexting (taking and sending naked pictures of themselves or other peers).
